Finance Manager

Resourcery Group are working with a PE backed multidivisional company in the Chester area to bring on board a qualified Senior Management Accountant. This is a fixed term contract role for 6-9 months to help lead and manage the day to day operations of the management accounting function. Our client offers hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and 2 WFH.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Producing the monthly management accounts with variance analysis for the divisional P&L’s
• KPI reporting with insight provision
• Budgeting and re-forecasting
• Balance sheet responsibility, reconciliation, VAT returns and regulatory returns
• Cash flow forecasting
• Cost and expense reporting
• FX
• Manage internal controls
• Manage and lead the team
• Have a strong understanding of operational finance such as AP, AR etc.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders

The ideal candidate background:

• A qualified accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Have a good background in leading a small team
• Good influencing skills in being able to deal with stakeholders
• Strong analysis skills and management accounting
