Financial Accountant

Group Accountant | £50,000 - £60,000 | Chester

ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant required for a large international business based in Chester. Working with a leadership team of fellow audit trained Accountants this will be an excellent opportunity to make a first step out of practice and into a supportive department with experience of progressing like minded individuals.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will gain broad experience in the following areas;

• Monthly management account production
• Cash flow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with year end audit
• Completion of yes end statements
• Complex bank reconciliations
• FX analysis
• Add value to ongoing demands for excellence throughout finance
• Process improvement – rigorous challenging of current controls & procedures

Candidate profile;

• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• Ideally audit trained
• Strong commercial acumen
• Passion for creating a best practice environment
