Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant | £28,000-30,000 (part time considered) | Capenhurst, Chester

A small but brilliant company based in Capenhurst is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an established team.

Part of a team of 2, you will as Accounts Assistant be responsible for:

• All financial administration of the business with regard to invoicing, payroll and purchasing
• Processing all payroll tasks a monthly basis for nearly 70 employees, using Sage Payroll
• Supporting sales administration through raising of sales invoices and credit control
• Processing supplier invoices and coding on to Sage
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing expenses
• Online banking and production of monthly payment runs
• Preparing reports for invoicing, stock levels
• Supporting with financial year end audits

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience working in a similar finance role
• Knowledge of payables/receivables and payroll
• Sage experience is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Good team player
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
