Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £45,000 | Ormskirk

We are partnering with a niche manufacturing business based near Ormskirk to recruit a part qualified Management Accountant to join an experienced accountancy team.

As Management Accountant, you will take responsibility for delivery of financial management and reporting for various subsidiaries within the group, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and ad hoc analysis, as well as managing business critical projects.

Day to day, your responsibilities will be:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packs, as well as business review pack, tax pack and audit packs in accordance with US GAAP
• Producing weekly flash report
• Supporting the senior leadership teams to get insights into business performance
• Stock control and stock ledger reconciliation
• Posting journals and adjustments ensuring general ledger reconciliation
• Managing financial controls
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register – additions, disposals, transfers etc
• Supporting with data-driven insights, the overall business plan
• Assisting with the production of an annual budget and cash flow projections

We are looking for someone who is:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA with experience working in management accounts
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel
• Proficiency with Power BI would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Strong planning and time management skills
• Well motivate with a desire to learn

You will receive, as Management Accountant:
