HR Director
Resourcery Group is thrilled to be supporting a Liverpool-based Education Trust in their search for an exceptional Executive Director of HR. This integral position will form part of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruitment and retention, succession planning, employee relations, policy development, organisational change, performance management, and continuous professional development.
My client is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Executive Director of HR to join their growing Education Trust in Liverpool. As a key member of their Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for all aspects of HR management, including recruitment and retention, succession planning, employee relations, policy development, organisational change, performance management, and continuous professional development. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in driving this organisation's success and ensuring a positive and inclusive work culture for all employees. Working in collaboration with other Executive Directors, you will oversee a team of 2 within HR.
Applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
- Strong employee relations experience (casework, up to and including dismissal)
- Experience leading a HR team
- Adept at handling change (including TUPE, change management, redundancy, and restructuring), driving strategy forward, and managing complex projects
- Managing a varied and demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibiting a high level of knowledge and understanding of policy, procedure, employment law, and best practises in relation to HR within the education sector, along with the ability to assess implications and articulate risk
- Developing, updating, and ensuring that all HR policies are implemented and communicated throughout the Trust
- Strong systems exposure and the ability to produce Board-level reports
- Having a strong understanding and working knowledge of safer recruitment, safeguarding, and being up to date with all legislation
- Ability to build external relationships and contacts to seek advice and gain in-depth information where relevant
- Exposure and working knowledge of dealing with Trade Unions and professional bodies
- CIPD Qualified ( or relevant experience)
