Finance Business Partner

Resourcery is excited to support a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Preston in their search for a Finance Business Partner. As a qualified Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting budget holders and contributing to the production of management accounts. Your ability to provide influential financial insights and relevant information will be essential in supporting operational decision making.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with budget holders to understand their financial needs and provide support in financial planning and analysis
- Assist in the production of accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilise financial data to provide influential insights and recommendations to support operational decision making
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or nearing the end of studies

- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practises with a demonstrable proven track record in a similar position

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Strong Excel skills- with the ability to manipulate large data sets 

- The ability to work with non-finance teams, building strong and lasting relationships 

- Understanding and exposure of Capital Projects
